Feyenoord have demanded compensation from Tottenham Hotspur after the club tried to take two coaches along with Arne Slott.

“Feyenoord have demanded compensation after Tottenham tried to take two coaches with them amid tensions over Slott’s future,” the Daily Mail reported on March 22.

Tottenham began this season under Antonio Conte, who was terminated by mutual consent in March following a poor run of form. Assistant coach Christian Stellini then took over as acting manager, but the team failed to rebound and he was eventually sacked.

Currently, Ryan Mason is leading the team as acting head coach. However, his limitations are clear. Mason hasn’t done much since taking over. Spurs have fallen to eighth place in the league and are in danger of missing out on UEFA’s club competitions next season. 메이저사이트

The club needs to find a full-time coach as soon as possible for next season. A number of coaches have been considered, and Slott, who led Feyenoord to the league title, has emerged as the favorite.

“I’ve always said the best league in the world is the Premier League. If my next career is still in the Dutch league, it’s a failure,” he said, adding that he hoped to challenge for the Premier League himself.

But Feyenoord have no intention of letting him go. They still have a year left on his contract, and with no release clause, they can opt out at any time.

When news broke that Tottenham wanted not only Slott but also two coaches, Feyenoord demanded compensation.

According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham want Slott and coaches Marino Pusic and Sifke Hulshof. Feyenoord have reportedly demanded a minimum compensation of £6 million ($9.7 million) to take Slot, who is under contract until 2024, and the two coaches.

Slott, meanwhile, had recently informed the club of his intention to leave the club in negotiations. Feyenoord had offered him a new contract, but Slott wanted a new challenge.

However, Tottenham have not yet made any official contact with the player, so it could be quite a while before he is available.
