Harry Maguire is growing increasingly distant from Manchester United.
“Maguire has not had specific talks with United about his future, but he will have a meeting with Van Gaal in the near future,” the British publication CutOffside reported on Wednesday.

He hasn’t exactly lived up to his price tag. His form has dropped dramatically since last season. His poor positioning and poor judgment led to him being labeled as United’s punching bag.
This season, he’s been completely relegated to the bench. With Rafael Varane and Lissandro Martinez forming an excellent partnership, Maguire’s place in the side was rapidly shrinking.
It looks like he may be saying goodbye to United. “Van Gaal will tell Maguire that he will be allowed to leave if the right offer comes in this summer,” claimed transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano.
The chances of a move happening are high. With United unhappy with Maguire’s performances and Maguire wanting more playing time, it seems likely that the two sides will part ways.
