No compensatory players were moved in the forward transfers.

스포츠토토 The KBL announced today that Seoul SK (Choi Jun-yong), Anyang KGC (Moon Sung-gon), Suwon KT (Yang Hong-seok), and Daegu KOGAS (Jung Hyo-geun) have elected cash compensation for their respective transfers in connection with the exercise of the 2023 KBL Free Agent Compensation Designation Rights.

The designation of compensated players as a result of the free agency agreement only applies to transfers of players in the top 30 of the compensation hierarchy. Accordingly, the clubs that acquired the four players had until June 26 to submit their protected player lists.

The original clubs had until 6 p.m. on the 28th to decide whether to exercise the compensatory player designation. They had to choose between 200% of the player’s previous year’s salary or 50% of the salary + compensatory player designation. All four clubs (SK, KT, KGC, and KOGAS) opted for cash compensation of 200% of the previous year’s salary.

Jeonju KCC will pay SK 1.1 billion won, which is 200% of Choi Jun-yong’s salary of 550 million won for the 2022-2023 season, KT will pay KGC 1 billion won, which is 200% of Moon Sung-gon’s salary of 500 million won for the 2022-2023 season, KGC will pay KOGAS 600 million won, which is 200% of Jung Hyo-geun’s salary of 300 million won for the 2022-2023 season, and Changwon LG will pay KT 1 billion won, which is 200% of Yang Hong-seok’s salary of 500 million won for the 2022-2023 season.
